Members of the Latina/o Studies Association converged in Pasadena to kick of the new organization’s biennial conference starting on July 7. The event, which will conclude on July 9, draws together over 120 individual sessions including traditional panels, workshops, and roundtables with over 400 active participants. The conference will draw scholars, artists, activists, and community members into discussions on the most pressing issues facing Latina/os today and in the past.
