Airport Information

There are various airport options for flying into the Los Angeles area and getting to Pasadena.  The following are airport names and approximate rates for the best transportation options to get you to the Westin.  It is highly recommend that you take Lyft or Uber to get you around the LA area and to and from the airport.  Both companies now pick up passengers at LAX.

  • Bob Hope Airport, Burbank (BUR). 16 miles from Pasadena. Taxi: $50. Supershuttle: $23
  • LAX:  28 miles from Pasadena.  Taxi fare: $95. Supershuttle: $30
  • Long Beach Airport (LGB): 30 miles from Pasadena. Supershuttle: $70
  • Ontario International (ONT): 36 miles from Pasasdena Supershuttle: $60
  • John Wayne Airport (SNA): 40 miles from Pasadena. Supershuttle: $75

Lyft and Uber has been approved to pick up visitors at LAX and most other airports.  Check their websites for accurate information.

Local Transportation

The Westin Pasadena is located in the heart of downtown at 191 North Los Robles.  Call 626.792.2727  or see their website for directions if driving.  If you are in need of parking your car we highly recommend the hotel parking lot because the City of Pasadena has very strict parking regulations and meters are mostly short term. Valet Parking $15 per day for hotel guests and visitors.

Uber and Lyft are great options for getting around LA County.  Also, the Metro Gold Line is a convenient commuter train that connects east Pasadena to downtown Los Angeles, stopping at Union Station, Japantown, and Chinatown for easy access to museums, dining, and shopping. The Del Mar Station at Memorial Park is just three blocks from the hotel, about ten minutes’ walking distance. Single Fare:  $1.50.  Day Pass:  $5.
